Review | MUA Undress Me Too Palette

When it comes to eye shadow I love neutrals. This palette is the perfect mix of 12 bronze and brown shades ranging from matte to metallic and it is just amazing! Each shade has amazing pigmentation (as per with MUA eye shadows). I have the Undressed palette as well but this ones shade range is so much better for me. I have herd it livened to Urban Decays Naked 2 palette but I don't have that so I cant really comment. (If it is similar I don't see the point these eye shadows are amazing for just £4!)
The shades are absolutely beautiful and I love that they gave them names this time! I love using  fiery and dreamy to make a bronze smokey eye. Good matte blacks are hard to come by, but corrupt is perfect.

Overall I love this palette and I think it is well worth the £4 price tag. In fact I think I would happily pay a lot more than that for the quality! It definitely gets a 10/10 from me!
You can find MUA here and at your local superdrug!

Tag | How much is your face worth?

(Sorry for the rubbish lighting in this photo)

I have never done a tag style post before but I have seen a few people doing this one, it looked kinda fun so I thought I would give it a go! If you haven't seen this tag before the idea is you list every product you have used on your face that day and add up the prices. So here I go...
MUA Undress your skin Flawless face primer - £5
Revlon colour stay makeup (ivory) - £12.49
Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer (51) - £7.49
Rimmel Stay Matte powder (transparent) - £3.99
MUA Bronzer (shade 3) - £1
No7 Skin Illuminator (Peach) - £11
Maybelline Colour tattoo (on and on bronze) - £4.99
Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeliner (bronze) - £3.99
Soap and Glory Thick and fast Collagen coat mascara - £10.50
Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil (hazel) - £2.99
Natural Collection lash care mascara (clear) - £1.99
Maxfactor lasting lip tint ( 03) - £6.99
MUA Pro Base Fixing mist - £5

Total : £77.42

I use a lot of products that are on the cheaper end but its scary to see how quickly it adds up! I'm pretty proud of my self considering most of these posts I have read have totaled at well over £100. (Does this mean i can treat my self to more makeup?!)
Have you done a pose like this? I really enjoy reading them!

Review | Rimmel Scandaleyes Khol Kajal Eyeliners

So I have seen alot of good reviews for these eyeliners and I have to say I completely agree with them. I was never really a massive fan of pencil eyeliners before, they were always either to hard or way to soft and smudged easily. These are the perfect formulation: creamy enough to apply easily and smudge out to look smokey but stay put all day! (Plus they have the most beautiful pigmentation!)

I have 3 colours:  Black, Nude and Bronze. The nude is perfect for wearing in the waterline everyday and really helps make your eyes look awake without looking harsh like while eyeliner can. The black and bronze are great both to line the lid as well and the waterline but can also be easily blended all over the eye as an amazing eye shadow or base.
They are the best pencil eyeliners I have ever tried and at just £3.99 each they are an absolute bargain! They have a few more colours so I think one day soon I might have to pop to boots and pick up another one (or two...)

My Dior Makeover!

I have never really shopped at a high end makeup counter before, I always feel a little bit intimidated by them (does anyone else get that?). However, the other day I was shopping with my boyfriend and we went for a mooch round Debenhams' makeup section. We found ourselves in the Dior section and the lady at the counter was actually really nice. She matched me up to a foundation and gave me a little sample of it to try at home. While I was there she told me about a makeup artist they had coming in during the next week. After a little bit of persuasion from my boyfriend I decided to book an appointment and get my makeup done.

So along I went on Wednesday to get my makeup done. Everyone there was really nice and I had a really good time. I really liked my new makeup look (even if the foundation he used was a little dark and by the time I got home I looked like i had a wotsit for a face). It was a really nice experience and I even got a little goodie bad of some perfume and skincare samples to try.

Offt fancy samples.
And of course I fell in love with most of the products he used on me. My boyfriend let me pick one as a treat  (he is actually the loveliest) try as I may he did not let me say no (it was tough) I picked the Diorskin nude tan healthy glow enhancing powder in 001 aurora. Super expensive but super pretty! (Watch this space for a review).

So overall I had a super good time and will hopefully feel a little bit less intimidated by makeup counters in future (maybe).

FOTD | Bronze Eyes

I have recently been wearing bronze on my eyes nearly everyday so I though I'd do a FOTD showing you what I use. Its perfect for summer. I have been using a few new products, a star being the MUA fixing mist and I'm finally getting use out of my Rimmel scandaleyes in bronze that I got a while ago but never really used.

Have you tried any of these products?

Beauty Bargain | Coconut Oil

125ml for £2.29 or 2 for £3 - Superdrug
I have seriously heat/colour damaged hair so I was in desperate need for something to help. I had heard good things from friends and other blogs about using coconut oil so after finding this one from Superdrug for just £2.29 I thought I would give it a go.

What I do

I massage about a tablespoon amount of the oil in my hands so it melts and smooth it all over my hair avoiding the roots. I leave it on for one or two hours and then shampoo it out. Simple! After using it my hair feels super soft and looks so much healthier (smells pretty good too)! I use it about once every two weeks.

It acts as a good moisturizer for dry skin however having fairly oily skin I haven't tried this so can't comment on how well it works. Also it can be applied to your eyelashes to encourage them to grow longer and thicker, another thing I haven't yet tried but I might definitely give it ago!

Have you tried using coconut oil? What do you think?

Hair Update | Ginger Fringe

Because smiling is way to mainstream.

Hello there!
So after a little bit of time of having pink hair, I decided it was a bit to much and time to tone it down a little. I have always adored Auburn hair and so I figured now would be as good time as any to go ginger! I used the 'Nice n Easy' foam dye in light auburn. I was super pleased to see it go the perfect colour despite being putting it over bright pink hair! I have gotten so many compliments on my hair since I dyed it this colour which I didn't expect at all. (chuffed much?)
And now for the fringe! I had been putting off getting my hair cut for months so I decided to bite the bullet and get a trim. I am trying to grow my hair so just a few layers on that part. The real drastic change was of course the fringe. (My boyfriend said he doesn't like full fringes so of course that's what I had done). I'm not 100% decided if I like the fringe or not but either way a little bit of change is never a bad thing.
Let me know what you think?
Thats all for now!
