My New No7 Goodies!

I love a bargin. So whilst on a cheeky trip to boots Ii decided to take advantage of their 3 for 2 offer and use my No7 vouchers at the same time (£3 of No7 makeup and £5 off No7 skincare both could be used together and with the 3 for 2 offer).

Hot cloth cleanser - £9.95

I have been wanting to try a hot cloth clenser for ages but they are all so expensive. Even this one at £9.95 is usually out of my budget. However I thought I would give it ago considering I was getting £5 off. I have been using this everynight since I got it to remove my makeup and I have already seen improvments in my skins after just a few days! I may have to do a fill reveiw of this soon. You can find it here!

Stay Perfect Foundation - £14

I had my foundation matched using No7 new Match Made service. I came out with two perfect matches (I'm just to perfect you see!) 'Calico' and 'Cool Vanilla' I setled on the colour Cool Vanilla as Calico seemed a bit to light. This foundation is again out of my usual budget but I bought it anyway (I cant resist an offer). It has a slightly matt finish at first but I like to use a powder anyway as it does tend to go a bit shiny after a hour or two. You can find it here!

Sheer Temptation Lipstick in 'Glam' - £9

This is a really glossy bright red lipstick. Originally I was going to get a nude but I thought I would go for something brighter and as I dont own a red. What better colour to go for! Its very glossy and not very sheer. However, I cant talk for all the colours. You can find it here!

Thats all for now!

Nails | Technic Carnival

Whilst out shopping the other day I spotted this, possible the shiniest nail varnish ever, in Bodycare Now i am quite partial so a bit of glitter so when i saw this i just had to have it. It was only 99p! What. A. Bargain. I got really over excited i did my nails as soon as i got home then wrote a little blog on it. I have seen this compared to OPI Rainbow Connection from their Muppet collection. I can see why, I dont own the OPI nailvarnish so i cant compare on things such as how long it lasts or how much glitter is in it. However for 99p technic isnt doing to bad. I have had it on a few days now and it has stayed really well and protects the colour underneith it well too. I will say, I am a bit disapointed on 'glitter density' i would love for this to be a glitter polish but this is deffinatley a glitter top coat. Overall for 99p I cant complain!

I got mine from Bodycare however you can get it on Amazon and I'm sure a lot more places too!

I apologise about the awful state of my nails and my bad photography.

Enjoy,

Yummy! Graze Box!

Hello There!

This, my friends, is a terrible picture of a delicious graze box!

Okay so.... What is a Graze box I hear you ask?
(check them out here!)
It is a box that comes in the post with 4 healthy snacks, all natural and lovely. They send them randomly or you can increase your chance of getting a snack by clicking 'send soon'. Each box is £3.79 which I think is pretty good for 4 good quality healthy snacks! You can get your box sent weekly (choosing the day or days you want it delivered on) or just order a box when ever you fancy. You either 'love' 'like' or 'bin' each snack you try so they know weather or not you enjoyed it and if they should send you it again. I shall tell you what i thought of my box now!

Into my box!

Apple and Cinnamon Flapjack

Cinnamon is one of my favorite flavors at the moment and this flapjack was amazing. This definitely gets a 'Love' from me!

Banoffee Pie

Now I know what your thinking... This does not sound healthy at all! However, it is not a real pie so calm down. It is almond slices, fudge pieces, pecan nuts and banana. This was again another 'Love' for me!

Cheddar Gorge

Cheese Cashews, Baked herb bites and Salsa corn sticks. I was unsure on this combo however I really did enjoy it! 'Love'

Black Pepperdoms

This was my least favorite, I don't like pepper and it was a bit spicy.  It was Fruity mango chutney with black pepper corn rice crackers. I would have to say for me this is a 'bin' however if spice and pepper tickles your pickle (oo-er) then this would be perfect for you!

If you want to grab yourself a free graze box click here! Or use this voucher code: HZ15M36D

Enjoy!

Pretty Glitter Nails

Hello there...

I have not blogged in over a month due to an exploding laptop and my rubbish technical knowlage. None the less I am back, anw with some super shiny nails! I wanted to add a bit of sparkle into my life after a not so good few weeks. I created these cute shiny nails! (I apologise for their messyness I dont have super stedy hands).

The blue is Essie 'Lapiz of luxury' (here). - My first ever Essie nailvarnish!
The silver glitter is BarryM 'limited edition' (here)
The silver is BarryM nail effect in 'silver foil' (here)

All of these Nail varnishes are very long wearing and the silver glitter as a top coat means there is no chipping at all! I wore these nails for about a week and there was not a single chip!

What do you think?

How to: Make an eye shadow palette...

I had a awful lot of random single eye shadows that weren't in palettes or boxes. I was going to throw them out but I thought "what a waste!" So I created a little palette of my own out of things I found in my house.

What you will need
  • A craft knife
  • Some glue (I recommend a strong glue because you need to stick things to plastic)
  • Some card (I used some from a shoe box so it already was black, you could paint it if you wanted)
  • Some single eye-shadows/blushes (depoted)
  • A DVD case (I used the box from my old sims game that broke)
  • A cheeky bit of patience

Step 1

First you want to cut any parts of the case that stick up using the craft knife. This is was a tad tricky because the plastic was quite thick. It took a while but I got there. Make sure you don't chop off the bit that holds it closed!

Step 2

Next you need to grab the card. I used some from a shoe box because it was already glossy and black. If you don't have a shoe box or card the right colour just paint it. You need to cut the card so it fits nice and snug into the case, one at each side.

Step 3

Depot all the eye shadows you want to put in your pallet.

Step 4

Arrange your eye shadows how you want them to be places in your palette on one of the card sides. Draw round them and then cut out the shapes with your craft knife.

Step 5

Glue in both sides of the card. I tried using prit stick first but this didn't stick the card to the plastic at all. Use a stronger glue or something designed for sticking things to plastic.

Step 6

Stick your eye shadows in arranging them how you like. I chose to put the colours that go well together.

Step 7

I took the paper from the outside of the game box and used bits of magazines to decorate it and to  make the words. You could decorate it however you wanted, funky paper or just a list of the colours inside its really up to you.

Step 8

Here I stuck the paper to the box using the same glue as before.

The finished thing!

This is that mine looked like when it was finished. I found some small mirrors in a cupboard so though i would stick them on the other half. I am really impressed with my little palette.

Let me know what you think!
Tatty bye,

A cheeky bit of e.l.f.

As I was browsing the interwebs drooling over all the makeup and clothes I can't afford (when I should have been doing revision) i spotted that elf was giving free delivery over the weekend. As much as I love their lovely products, I hate paying for delivery, for anything, ever even if it means i have to spend more. I have really been wanting some new makeup brushes so I thought I would have a peek at what elf had. Lots of things were sold out (how rude of the sneeky people before me) however, I did manage to find a few little things i wanted.

Have a gander at these:

''Blending Eye Brush' - £1.50

'Defining Eye Brush' - £1.50

Both these brushes shed quite a bit but after I tweezed out all those pesky little bristles they do exactly what they should and for £1.50 each I really can't complain. They work fab together to create a smokey eye, the defining one to put colour in the crease and the blending one to well... blend.

'Powder Brush' - £3.50

This Brush is from the studio range and OMG I think i might be in love. i was a bit worried about this one after reading some reviews that said it was rough. I opened up the packet and felt it... It is sooooo soft! I just want to sit and stroke it all day. I have tried this brush with powder and liquid foundation. It works so well with both. Being a bit of a makeup noob to find a brush that gives my foundation a really nice finish with minimal effort is amazing. This one is a keeper.

And then I found the eyelashes....

'Dramatic Lash Kit' - £1.50

'Individual Lash Kit' - £1.50

'Natural Lash Kit' - £1.50

I'm not a massive eyelash wearer as I have pretty good eyelashes naturally. The eyelash kits come with glue and are only£1.50 each, which meant I could buy them then not cry that it was a waste when I never actually get brave enough to wear them. The only lashes I have actually worn are the individuals.  They are so subtle yet they enhance my eyelashes perfectly. Really worth a £1.50 splurge. I tried on the natural lashes because I was skeptical to just how 'natural' they looked. I could tell i was wearing them however they did not look over the top at all. I am quite impressed.

Overall I'm pleased with my elf shopping experience! My order came quickly and everything was fine with the items i got. I would recommend elf to anyone especially if you are on a budget (like me). Check out their website here!

That is all for now,
Tatty Bye

A Pretty little tulip

Aww springy...

I saw some tulips in my garden yesterday. They are the prettiest baby pink colour i just had to take a picture! I used the macro part of my zeikos fish eye adapter. I took a few but this one was my favorite. i just love how it blurs out at the edges, gives it a rather surreal effect i think. That is all i have to say really.
