FOTD | Natural Eyes Red Lips

Today I wanted to keep my makeup pretty natural on my eyes then add a pop of red on my lips. This is a look I have really loved wearing recently.

Nails | Lilac Ombre

Hello there...
So I am most definitely very late at getting on the 'ombre train'. However, late or not, I decided to give it a little go. I was getting a bit bored of block colour nails so thought I would try something a little different. It was so simple to do!

To create these nails I used:

  • BarryM Nail paint - 308 Berry Ice Cream
  • BarryM Base/Top Coat - 54 Clear All in one
  • MUA Nail polish - All Nude
I also used a little sponge, a makeup sponge would be ideal. I did a base coat of the clear varnish then two coats of the base (white) colour. Then I painted a line of the white and a line of the purple onto a little sponge and dabbed it onto the nail. The two colours will blend them-self creating a really easy ombre. Then after a few seconds apply the top coat which helps blend the two colours together even more and adds shine. I love this BarryM topcoat it makes any polish last ages!

My sponge is really a random bit of foam. ;)

I'm really happy with the finished look, I cant wait to try it with other colour combinations (maybe something a little more bold).
Let me now what you think!
Until next time...

Face Of The Day | Everyday Makeup

Since I haven't blogged in a while I thought I would kick it off again with a cheeky face of the day. Nothing to fancy but this is how I do my makeup most days.

What I used.

No7 Stay Perfect foundation in Cool Vanilla (here)

Rimmel Match Perfection foundation in Ivory (here)

I am starting to run out of my No7 Stay Perfect foundation so I mix it with the Rimmel Match Perfection one and I really like the effect it gives.

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer in Fair (here)

I just use a little bit of this under my eyes.

Rimmel Stay Matte powder in Transparent (here)

I like a really matte finish to my makeup and this powder lasts pretty much all day.

No7 Summer of Dreams bronzer

I used a Real Techniques powder brush with this to add a subtle bit of colour to my face. This bronzer was limited edition in the summer collection of No7 last year so sadly is no longer available.

Soap & Glory Love At First Blush (here)

This blush is super shimmery so I used it like a highlight over my cheekbones.

MUA Undressed eyeshadow pallete (here)

I used the shade 3 over my lit and shade 5 to define the crease of my eye. I also mixed both these shades together to define my eyebrows a little. I pressed a black eyeshadow close to my lash line to add a bit of definition.

Natural Collection Mascara in Clear (here)

I use this to set my brows.

Rimmel Scandaleyes khol liner in Nude(here)

I put this along my water line to hide the redness I get there. This liner is super cheap and lasts all day!

Soap & Glory Thick & Fast Collagen Coat mascara (here)

I love this mascara so much! It only takes one or two coats and I'm good to go.

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker in Punch Bowl (here)

This is a really nice subtle pink. It's very glossy but it is quite sticky and it tingles when you put it on.

And that is all for now!

My New No7 Goodies!

I love a bargin. So whilst on a cheeky trip to boots Ii decided to take advantage of their 3 for 2 offer and use my No7 vouchers at the same time (£3 of No7 makeup and £5 off No7 skincare both could be used together and with the 3 for 2 offer).

Hot cloth cleanser - £9.95

I have been wanting to try a hot cloth clenser for ages but they are all so expensive. Even this one at £9.95 is usually out of my budget. However I thought I would give it ago considering I was getting £5 off. I have been using this everynight since I got it to remove my makeup and I have already seen improvments in my skins after just a few days! I may have to do a fill reveiw of this soon. You can find it here!

Stay Perfect Foundation - £14

I had my foundation matched using No7 new Match Made service. I came out with two perfect matches (I'm just to perfect you see!) 'Calico' and 'Cool Vanilla' I setled on the colour Cool Vanilla as Calico seemed a bit to light. This foundation is again out of my usual budget but I bought it anyway (I cant resist an offer). It has a slightly matt finish at first but I like to use a powder anyway as it does tend to go a bit shiny after a hour or two. You can find it here!

Sheer Temptation Lipstick in 'Glam' - £9

This is a really glossy bright red lipstick. Originally I was going to get a nude but I thought I would go for something brighter and as I dont own a red. What better colour to go for! Its very glossy and not very sheer. However, I cant talk for all the colours. You can find it here!

Thats all for now!

Nails | Technic Carnival

Whilst out shopping the other day I spotted this, possible the shiniest nail varnish ever, in Bodycare Now i am quite partial so a bit of glitter so when i saw this i just had to have it. It was only 99p! What. A. Bargain. I got really over excited i did my nails as soon as i got home then wrote a little blog on it. I have seen this compared to OPI Rainbow Connection from their Muppet collection. I can see why, I dont own the OPI nailvarnish so i cant compare on things such as how long it lasts or how much glitter is in it. However for 99p technic isnt doing to bad. I have had it on a few days now and it has stayed really well and protects the colour underneith it well too. I will say, I am a bit disapointed on 'glitter density' i would love for this to be a glitter polish but this is deffinatley a glitter top coat. Overall for 99p I cant complain!

I got mine from Bodycare however you can get it on Amazon and I'm sure a lot more places too!

I apologise about the awful state of my nails and my bad photography.

Enjoy,

Yummy! Graze Box!

Hello There!

This, my friends, is a terrible picture of a delicious graze box!

Okay so.... What is a Graze box I hear you ask?
(check them out here!)
It is a box that comes in the post with 4 healthy snacks, all natural and lovely. They send them randomly or you can increase your chance of getting a snack by clicking 'send soon'. Each box is £3.79 which I think is pretty good for 4 good quality healthy snacks! You can get your box sent weekly (choosing the day or days you want it delivered on) or just order a box when ever you fancy. You either 'love' 'like' or 'bin' each snack you try so they know weather or not you enjoyed it and if they should send you it again. I shall tell you what i thought of my box now!

Into my box!

Apple and Cinnamon Flapjack

Cinnamon is one of my favorite flavors at the moment and this flapjack was amazing. This definitely gets a 'Love' from me!

Banoffee Pie

Now I know what your thinking... This does not sound healthy at all! However, it is not a real pie so calm down. It is almond slices, fudge pieces, pecan nuts and banana. This was again another 'Love' for me!

Cheddar Gorge

Cheese Cashews, Baked herb bites and Salsa corn sticks. I was unsure on this combo however I really did enjoy it! 'Love'

Black Pepperdoms

This was my least favorite, I don't like pepper and it was a bit spicy.  It was Fruity mango chutney with black pepper corn rice crackers. I would have to say for me this is a 'bin' however if spice and pepper tickles your pickle (oo-er) then this would be perfect for you!

If you want to grab yourself a free graze box click here! Or use this voucher code: HZ15M36D

Enjoy!

Pretty Glitter Nails

Hello there...

I have not blogged in over a month due to an exploding laptop and my rubbish technical knowlage. None the less I am back, anw with some super shiny nails! I wanted to add a bit of sparkle into my life after a not so good few weeks. I created these cute shiny nails! (I apologise for their messyness I dont have super stedy hands).

The blue is Essie 'Lapiz of luxury' (here). - My first ever Essie nailvarnish!
The silver glitter is BarryM 'limited edition' (here)
The silver is BarryM nail effect in 'silver foil' (here)

All of these Nail varnishes are very long wearing and the silver glitter as a top coat means there is no chipping at all! I wore these nails for about a week and there was not a single chip!

What do you think?
